Job Description:

Manage material substitutions where appropriate, ensuring compliance with the site change management protocol.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure I and any direct reports, if applicable, conduct themselves safely at all times and comply with all Quality, Health, Safety and Environment (QHSE) Site Rules.
• Undertake product and process developments.
• Make cost savings by improvements in efficiency, waste and output.
• Manage material substitutions where appropriate, ensuring compliance with the site change management protocol.

Requirements:

• Working closely with the quality and production teams, improve production processes to enhance product quality, process stability and manufacturing efficiency.
• Support the business by working on product and process development projects, raw material selection and occasional waste & cost reduction initiatives.
• Support the quality function on specific issues requiring technical input.
