Job Description:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Registrar Officer within Bath and North East Somerset Registration Services, working together to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of the statutory and essential key services. We are looking for a confident and highly motivated professional individual with excellent customer services and communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• The successful candidate will receive additional payment for attendance at weekend ceremonies.
• You will have previous experience of registration or legal work and of working in a front facing environment. You will be responsible for the legal and accurate registration of births, deaths, still births, marriages and civil partnerships, taking and recording notices of marriage, civil partnerships,
• performing marriage, civil partnership, citizenship and other ceremonies. In addition, you will contribute to the development and growth of the service and provide a range of other related duties and initiatives.

Requirements:

• You will have previous experience of registration or legal work and of working in a front facing environment.
