Job Description:
The City of Chandler Public Works & Utilities Department is currently seeking qualified individuals interested in joining our team as an Engineer or Engineering Project Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Our new team member will provide excellent customer service and has a passion for project management of capital improvement projects and use of full range of professional engineering principles and practices in areas such as civil, structural, water resources, traffic, or contract administration;
- planning, developing, programming, design, and implementing projects.
- Our new team member will be able to negotiate and administer multiple contracts, provide technical review of designs and estimates, and coordinate with other agencies and utility companies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in an Engineering field or related field; and
- Four (4) years’ progressively responsible experience in civil engineering; and
- Registered Professional Engineer in Arizona; and
- Valid Arizona Driver’s License with acceptable driving record; or
- Any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the knowledge and abilities necessary to perform the work and which meets licensing requirements.
