Position Title: Environmental Program Manager

Job Description:
A High School Diploma or GED is required. A Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four-year college or university in biology, environmental studies, environmental sciences, environmental planning, public health or a related field is required.
Responsibilities:
- Under general direction, is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining programs and procedures to comply with the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) regulations affecting a division or department within the City of Cleveland
- including the Clean Air Act, and Superfund Amendments & Reauthorization Act.
- Performs Project Risk Analyses.
- Develops and maintains databases to track and manage environmental and safety training and EPA violations.
- Performs other job-related duties as required.
Requirements:
- A High School Diploma or GED is required.
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science or closely related field from a four-year accredited college or university is required.
- Three years of full time paid progressively responsible experience in the environmental field is required.
- Two years of full time paid experience in program/project management is also required.
- A valid State of Ohio Driver’s License is required.
- HAZWOPER certification within one year of regular appointment may be required by the division.
