Position Title: Software Engineer, Infrastructure

Responsibilities:

  • Design core, backend software components
  • Code using primarily C/C++, Python, Java, PHP and Hack
  • Interface with other teams to incorporate their innovations and vice versa
  • Conduct design and code reviews
  • Analyze and improve efficiency, scalability, and stability of various system resources
  • Complete medium to large features (each with many tasks) independently without guidance
  • Proactively identify and drive changes as needed for assigned codebase, product area and/or systems

Requirements:

  • Experience in either C, C++, Java, C# or other relevant coding languages
  • Experience building large-scale infrastructure applications or similar experience in a corporate or start-up environment
  • Experience designing and completing medium to large features independently without guidance.
  • Experience identifying and driving changes to applications as needed.
  • BSc or MSc in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent industry experience).
