Position Title:Temporary People Advisor

Job Description:

Reporting into the Retail People Manager you will be supporting in the development of the regional people plan and effectively implement the people plan within the West territory, acting as a role model for all people management activities. You will be coaching and supporting Area/Shop Management to ensure an effective understanding of their role and responsibilities with regards to people policies, procedures and strategy whilst also ensuring an effective and consistent approach to people management in relation to disciplinary, grievance and employee consultation.

Responsibilities:

  • You have excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail
  • You have a proven track record of delivering great results, developing people and dealing with complex people situations.
  • You’ll have effective communication skills across all levels
  • You’re ready to work alongside some great people and have lots of fun on your Greggs journey!
  • You have a full UK driving license and willing to do extensive travel to fulfil the role
  • You have previous experience and exposure of the HR function and a track record of managing difficult situations within a fast paced environment.
  • You can show experience of juggling high priority tasks to ensure timeframes are met.
  • You are computer literate and have an excellent standard of written English
  • You are supportive of an inclusive culture – recognising and valuing that difference is good.
  • You have the ability to influence the right decision and outcome to ensure the company is kept legal at all times.
