Position Title:Health and Safety Technical Coordinator

Job Description:

As Health and Safety Technical Coordinator you will provide reliable and efficient administrative and technical Health & Safety support to managers and other staff in the Division. You will primarily provide accurate Health & Safety performance data and information to meet defined requirements; handling requests from colleagues one day, and our Executive the next.

Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the production of regular reports showing patterns and trends in HSW performance indicators, including developing tools and dashboards to demonstrate performance trends.
  • Responding to and managing a variety of Health & Safety data and information requests from both internal colleagues and Supply Chain colleagues.
  • Effective day-to-day delivery of activities identified in programmes of work, through identifying and contributing to programme, project, cyclical, and ad-hoc performance reporting.
  • Supporting improvements where first line business process can be improved for our internal and external customers, such as accident reporting, information management, auditing and assurance activities, and internet communication platforms.
  • Developing internal communication products that promote the services and intentions of the H&S division.
  • Providing support to the day-to-day delivery of specific pieces of work to meet objectives that ensure timely and effective reporting information, and business function.

Requirements:

  • Excellent skills using standard Office software products, proficient in MS Excel and Power Bi, to enable the production and maintenance of a range of complex documents and spreadsheets, to collate data and produce relevant reports.
  • Writing and managing reports and communication products for a variety of stakeholders
  • Excellent business and process support experience, with good attention to detail.
  • Sound communication skills including the ability to write, communicate and present effectively with and to customers within the business.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritise critical items to deliver against tight deadlines, demonstrating an excellent attention to detail.
