Job Description:

The Desktop Engineer will be an integral part of the IT Operations and Services function

Responsibilities:

• Work with the Product Managers, Consumer Insights team and Beta users to develop the storytelling and messaging to inspire people to act
• Working with the rest of the team and Journeys Content Lead, contribute to the content strategy and content plan across the app, website, blogs, videos and emails
• Work with the Insights team to identify customer needs and preferences so that content can be developed and targeted accordingly
• Participate in innovation activity and brainstorming with the rest of the team to develop new content distribution strategies and methodologies

Requirements:

• Create outstanding, engaging, and relevant new content for the platform across a variety of digital formats, video, podcasts and social
• Ensure content is coordinated with Marketing activity and goals and work on items such as SEO is integrated
• Suggest new ideas/content and trial via AB testing and other methods to promote innovation and continuous improvement
• Work in a multidisciplinary team with professionals such as web designers, marketing managers and photographers to improve content strategy
• Contribute to the content calendar to ensure that content is created and published in line with desired timings
• Upload content to CMS and content tools using standard templates, writing all necessary meta descriptions and tags
