Job Description:

We at IKEA Nottingham are looking to welcome permanent for 30 hour Storeperson – Delivery Assisant to join our amazing team.Are you a team player with a passion for food and people? Do you thrive in a busy environment? If so, then we are looking for you.

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the Logistics Manager and the Sales and Supply Support Manager to secure a living capacity plan and an effective, qualitative and efficient goods flow process. Responsible for ensuring all customer online orders are fulfilled and an excellent customer shopping experience through excellent product quality, commercial merchandising and on time order fulfilment.
  • Responsible for sharing knowledge and good examples within your country to support competence development, particularly in the area of effective and efficient goods flow and health and safety in goods handling.
  • Accountable to ensure that the goods flow team works in compliance with the IKEA code of conduct, all
    functional relevant SOPs internal IKEA regulations and local legislation relating to health, safety and security
    and the environment.

Requirements:

  • Ideal candidate would be currently leading a team of 20 or more co-workers at present. Wither you are an existing team leader ready to take the next step or team manager ready to lead a bigger team. Then we have the job for you!
  • The Ability to reflect and find value and ideas in collaborating with others and ability to inspire and engage others while being business-minded and having a clear customer focus.
  • Ability to manage a high-volume and vibrant retail business in a fast changing multichannel environment and to make things happen with flexibility, speed and simplicity.
  • To lead and coach while learning and developing and to build trust by
    communicating in a clear and targeted way.
  • Natural ability to respect and value individual differences.
