Position Title: Strategic Improvement Manager

Job Description:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Strategic Improvement Manager for SEND Service (0-25) within Cambridgeshire County Council. This is a permanent position within the SEND Service Senior Management Team.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and lead on projects which bring about systemic change using strengths-based approaches within SEND Services and the wider SEND system for children and young people in Cambridgeshire.
  • Be a visible leader of coproduction within the Council and partner agencies
  • Actively support and work collaboratively with fellow Senior Managers to enable the SEND Service to provide the highest possible support to its clients.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge and understanding of the legislation governing the provision of services for children with special educational needs and experience working within an educational environment.
  • Ability to use systems leadership skills to influence partners.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate others and work collaboratively and effectively to achieve goals.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience of leading on projects and programmes and budget management.
  • Ability to lead and train a large multidisciplinary audience.
