Requirements:

  • As a newly qualified social worker, you will engage with others in different service areas/organisations to broaden your learning, gain peer support, and build critical awareness.
  • You will also spend time in various teams to enable you to understand the child/ young person’s journey throughout our organisation.
  • The Social Care Academy are focused on delivering strong career development pathways.
  • We will identify NQSWs who can be our future managers for leadership and management training programmes to equip them with their skills before entering a management role.
  • And ……. when you successfully complete you ASYE, you will automatically move up to the next grade and become eligible for the market forces supplement attached to the role (currently standing at £5,000 per annum).
  • You will also receive a certificate from Skills for Care funded by The Department for Education for your continuous professional development (CPD).
