Job Description

The Proceeds of Crime Centre (PoCC) provides its primary regulatory function through the accreditation and monitoring of powers. This is done via the professional register known as the FISS system, and ensures PoCC can carry out its statutory responsibility by providing a platform to train, accredit and monitor financial investigators.The role entails managing the FISS system, working with Regulators, Stakeholders and the supplier to ensure that it continues to meet the needs of the Financial Investigator community. The role also requires working with the PoCC team to enable them to get the most out of the system as new capabilities become available, and ensuring that accurate MI is available when required.

Responsibilities:

  • To manage the lifecycle of own projects and those of others including design, testing, change, deployment and acceptance management
  • Apply relevant local and security policies effectively at all times; ensuring security is an integral part of all developed systems, ensuring that suitable controls to protect information are in use
  • Manage software defects, ensuring they are tracked, investigated and corrected whether found within internal software or third-party software.
  • Develop and build internal and external partner relations working collaboratively to foster good relations. Working with internal business partners to resolve any issues associated with service delivery from engineering project deliverables.
  • Manage professional relationships with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders and act as a point of contact for some external parties. Ensure an accurate asset register is maintained
