Job Description:

Dunham is a fast paced ambitious property. With a blend of built property, parkland and wider agricultural estate we offer a fantastic experience for our visitors to connect with the work we do. The Ranger team are currently delivering a stretching Conservation Management Plan for the Parkland and a ‘Green Recovery Challenge Fund’ project enhancing the biodiversity and access across the entire estate. A busy workload means flexibility is key and a willingness to get stuck in is required. Being a Dunham Ranger is hard work, stretching but more than that, fun and rewarding.

What you’ll be doing

Responsibilities:

  • Strong IT skills – Microsoft Office, as well as web and social media applications
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Knowledge of relevant Health & Safety procedures
  • Excellent people skills, enabling strong relationships, both externally and internally
  • Experience of working to multiple deadlines and managing own workload
  • Understanding of the aims and ethos of the National Trust
  • Experience of producing interpretation, marketing or promotional material
  • Outstanding organisation and planning skills, and a good eye for detail
  • A hard working approach, be committed and a team player
