Position Title: Data Insight Officer

Job Description:
We are looking for a talented Data Insight Officer who will relish the huge sense of purpose that comes with helping us to achieve our vision of becoming an outstanding police service for everyone.
Responsibilities:
- Supporting the force management information systems and enhance our capabilities on delivering information.
- Timely and accurate production of statistics and reports to inform insight and decision making at all levels, both within and external to the organisation.
- To deliver high performing Business Intelligence products, which will provide high quality actionable analytics and insight to the organisation to influence decision making across a range of boards and committees.
- Working collaboratively to deliver innovative product development and support to the wider organisation to help build and improve data driven service delivery.
Requirements:
- Computer literate with experience of generic and specialist packages
- Experience of producing statistical reports
- Experience of data collection across a variety of sources
- Ability to engage with a variety of customers to establish requirements, building and maintaining effective relationships
- Experience of querying databases and using Business Intelligence software applications
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
