Responsibilities:

  • We are looking for an enthusiastic team member to join our Logistics team as a First Line Manager based at our Distribution Centre in Magor.
  • The shift pattern for the role is 6.00am until 2.00pm and 2.00pm until 10.00pm, including weekend working on a rota’ d basis.
  • As our First Line Manager you’ll lead a team within the Distribution Centre to ensure inbound supplier deliveries are received and deliveries to stores are fulfilled, whilst all targets are achieved around health and safety, availability, people, stock and cost to serve.

Requirements:

  • You’ll take the lead in creating a safe place to work, driving standards, ensuring that methods of work/safe systems are in place within the Distribution Centre and all legal compliance is adhered to.
  • To manage the team by ensuring all inbound stock is receipted, stock is available on time in line with demand, store orders are picked and loaded on time to the despatch schedule.
  • You’ll take the lead in creating a great place to work within the Distribution Centre, ensuring team members are fully engaged, all targets around absence are met, retention and engagement are achieved.
  • Manage the team by ensuring that all stock processes are always adhered to, all team members and functional areas are compliant.
