Job Description:

We’ll soon be launching our new Creative Hub in London, in a stunning space with state of the art production facilities, to complement our established production teams in Manchester & Bolton. It’s going to be a mix of creatives, producers and makers with the mission of raising the bar creatively across our content output. We’re looking for an Executive Producer to play a key role in this exciting new venture. You’ll be responsible for managing and shaping the studio team and its output on a daily basis, helping us set things up, and also having a strong influence over how it develops.

Responsibilities:

  • Daily management of studio team and its output.
  • Helping us to successfully launch our new creative hub.
  • Overall responsibility for all production ensuring each project has the right team and talent in place to raise the creative bar whilst ensuring timelines and budgets are met.
  • Establishing and developing best practice process across the studio.
  • Responsibility for running and setting up shoots both within the studio, as well as larger external productions.
  • Managing productions from creative development through to final delivery.
  • Influencing the creative direction of projects by suggesting talent and production techniques. Offering advice and guidance throughout the creative and production process.
  • Inspiring, influencing, protecting and delivering creative work we can all be proud of.
  • Working closely with, and collaborating on projects with our existing production and creative teams in Bolton and Manchester
  • Building strong relationships across the studio team, but also with colleagues and customers across the organisation.
  • Mentoring and team development, as well as helping to nurture a great culture.
  • Identifying new hires and talent gaps and ensuring the team has the right knowledge, experience, and skills to efficiently manage an evolving and growing work profile.
  • Helping plan the future direction of the studio and the services we offer.
  • Cultivating and developing a “Black Book” of creative talent.

Requirements:

  • Comfortable around all types of production, but particularly well versed in all aspects of video and film production, including line production.
  • 10 years+ experience in fast paced production and creative environments.
  • Comfortable around complex large budget productions and projects.
  • An expert in social production and its various formats.
  • Have a real passion for film production and its craft, but also comfortable and experienced around all production disciplines.
  • Knowledgeable around post production processes, techniques, software and workflows.
  • Great with numbers and schedules. You know how to make any timeline and budget work, and love to negotiate.
  • A proven team leader but you also like to get stuck in and have an entrepreneurial spirit. This is a start-up environment.
  • You’re passionate about creativity but also process driven.
  • You’ve got a great “Black Book” of best in class talent.
  • Take short deadlines and last minute changes of direction in your stride.
  • Great at prioritising and juggling multiple fast paced projects, and always keeping calm.
