Position Title: Marketing Co-ordinator

Job Description:

We’re looking for a marketing co-ordinator to join our local marketing team at Co-op Funeralcare and help deliver a balance of customer satisfaction and commercial performance We’re already market leaders for funeralcare, but we want to continue to pioneer client care and innovation in the industry. This means extending what we offer and developing new products and services to meet the evolving needs of our members and communities.

Responsibilities:

  • manage local marketing requests from colleagues across our funeral homes
  •  work closely with teams across the Co-op to plan and lead campaigns to drive awareness of Co-op funeralcare
  • develop supporting materials and find opportunities to highlight the Co-op vision and our membership proposition in the communities we serve
  • implement and deliver eye-catching local marketing campaigns to support our property development programme, working alongside our agency partners
  • handle a range of financial tasks including weekly stock lists and reporting and controlling marketing budgets
  • admin duties from proofing content and updating to existing literature to raising purchase orders and receipting invoices where required

Requirements:

  • a passion to learn and build a career in marketing
  •  some previous experience in marketing, this could include a work placement
  • confidence using IT programmes, particularly Office 365
  •  great organisational skills and a keen eye for detail
  •  the ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team
