Responsibilities:

  • Be an advocate for the global WhatsApp user.
  • Display strong leadership, organizational and execution skills.
  • Incorporate data, research and market analysis to inform product strategies and roadmaps.
  • Build a great team environment in partnership with engineers and other cross-functional colleagues.
  • Understand Facebook’s strategic and competitive position and deliver products that are aligned with our mission and recognized as the best in the industry.
  • Drive product development from small features to entirely new products.
  • Work hands-on with designers and engineers to implement and build new features that meet our standards of simplicity and quality.
  • Maximize efficiency in a constantly evolving environment where the process is fluid and creative solutions are the norm.

Requirements:

  • Experience building and shipping applications or software of features/products that encompass an end-to-end experience within a large-scale, ambiguous domain.
  • Experience in technical architecture of mobile applications.
  • Experience designing user interfaces.
  • Experience driving projects with cross-functional colleagues.
  • Familiarity with WhatsApp product.
  • Experience of going through a full product lifecycle, integrating customer feedback into product requirements, driving prioritisation and pre/post-launch execution.
  • Experience leading a cross-functional team of world-class individuals.
  • Experience developing social products, technologies and platforms.
