Position Title: Facility Management

Job Description:

The central Procurement team leads the optimisation of Eurostar’s spend for their European operations. The team leverages market and category management expertise to manage the acquisition of goods and services, with the aim of achieving optimal total cost of ownership together with the management of key supplier relationships. To accomplish this goal the team supports end-to-end procurement processes with suppliers and key business stakeholders based in the UK, France, Belgium, and the Netherlands.

Responsibilities: 

  • Lead tender processes
  • Establish project charter, timelines, and milestones, and ensure the project team delivers against these objectives
  • Support the internal customers in managing and monitoring the contractual performance of strategic suppliers
  • Lead contract negotiations and develop negotiation plans
  • Develop and manage relationships with stakeholders across the business
  • Identify opportunities to deliver value within the facility management, property and infrastructure
  • category through sourcing, specification rationalisation, demand management
  • Develop a strategic category plan, which has a clear savings opportunity scope
  • Act as point of contact for category expertise across Eurostar
  • Champion and increase awareness of Procurement best practices and facilitate change throughout the business.

Reqirements:

  • Proven ability in delivering savings through driving strategic category planning
  • Ability to think strategically
  • Capable of building a strong rapport with stakeholders and suppliers at all levels
  • Proven experience of sourcing, negotiation, and supplier management in a similar category
  • Project management skills
  • Influencing skills for a dispersed stakeholder base
  • Strong problem solving and analytical expertise
