Position Title: Commercial Trading Manager

Job Description:

To manage the overall relationship with Retail and focussing on growing our customer offer through driving our sales potential whilst minimising the financial impact to the business. You will be responsible for providing a specialist service to retail through building a great partnership in order to drive both home delivery and online growth in stores for your region.

Responsibilities:

  • To identify service opportunities to grow store sales with profitability in mind
  • Complete Periodic Business Reviews with Area Sales Managers to identify opportunities from the front line
  • Focus on store utilisation to ensure we are not turning customers away
  • Influencing key stakeholder at all levels to drive the Delivered Sales agenda with Retail in mind
  • Ability to forge relationships quickly through effective networking with internal and external stakeholders
  • Thorough understanding of Delivered Sales process and systems
  • Ability to interpret data to implement solutions that drive profitable sales growth
  • Be a Champion of Delivered Sales of processes, policies, and procedures
  • Ongoing cost control to deliver all financial targets & drive company initiatives
  • Ability to work efficiently with the wider Delivered Sales and eCommerce teams

Requirements:

  • Retail industry background
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Experience of budget management
  • Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships
  • Flexible and adaptable; able to work in ambiguous situations
  • Commercial awareness & acute business acumen and understanding or organisational challenges
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Products
