Position Title: Insurance Administrator

Job Description:

We have a fantastic opportunity for an Insurance Administrator to join our Legal Services Department within head office in Deeside, near Chester.

Responsibilities:

  • Possessing a ‘can do’ attitude and willingness to take on routine but essential tasks and looking to develop their career with a national retail company.
  • The position offers lots of opportunity for career development within the organisation, whilst making best use of existing skills and experience.
  • Providing general administrative support to the Insurance Department.
  • Maintain insurance claim files and update various electronic databases.
  • Accurate data entry and keeping of records.
  • Making calls / e-mail stores to progress and chase outstanding paperwork.

Requirements:

  • Well presented, articulate and a good communicator.
  • Good Excel skills plus a wide range of administrative duties including use of other Microsoft Office and other IT packages
  • Organised, trustworthy and reliable – attention to detail.
  • Willingness to develop and learn new skills
  • Experience in an administrative or insurance role would be an advantage, but not essential.
  • Ability to work on own initiative / prioritise own workload.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills with a variety of people both verbally and in writing.
