Job Description:
This position is a key contributor to the Rio Tinto IR team, playing an active role in creating the group’s all important equity narrative (investment case), production of key public documents and direct interaction with shareholders, analysts, Rio Tinto Finance function and senior management.
Responsibilities:
- Investor Relations is a small and highly effective team (currently based in London and Melbourne), who represent Rio Tinto within the global financial community.
- The team develops and communicates the group’s investment case to financial markets.
- It provides feedback to the overall strategy & finance group and senior management on market views and relevant developments and ensures that investor issues are appropriately considered across decision making process at both central and product group levels.
- This role is based in London. It is a varied and fast-paced area of the business which requires rich internal and external engagement.
