Job Description:

The support worker role involves all aspects of daily support, including supporting people to access activities and experiences in their local community, personal care, support with managing finance, administering medication and ensuring people’s needs are met in terms of health and positive outcomes.The successful applicant will value others and have a person centred approach supporting people with dignity and respect

Responsibilities:

  • Duties and responsibilities will be pro-rata to capacity in circumstances where Family Support Workers are part time workers, where it is proposed that the smallest part time post in terms of hours will normally be 22.2 hrs per week, with some at 29.6 hrs and also full time options (37hrs).
  • Flexible working is required and some involvement in evening and weekend delivery may be required to meet the needs of families.Family Support Workers will be line managed by the appropriate Senior Family Support Worker.
  • This post is a COVID-19 critical post. The successful applicant/s will be required to undergo regular COVID-19 testing and are strongly encouraged to take up the offer of the COVID-19 vaccination.
