Position Title: P/T Business Support Administrator

Job Description:

We are seeking to appoint a temporary Business Support professional with strong communication skills and good IT skills to provide an exceptional business support service to the schools within our 11 school Multi Academy Trust. We are looking for someone who will be determined to make a difference to our school community with the ability to balance a diverse and busy workload. You will also have the ability to develop strong relationships and create new and effective solutions as problems arise. This position is part time (ideally over 5 days, but with flexibility for the correct candidate) and temporary until October 2022.

Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with the Data Protection Officer and schools to complete information asset registers;
  • Liaise with DPO and schools to complete Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs);
  • Report on compliance across the Trust and to facilitate with the DPO the annual GDPR audit;
  • To provide support to the CEO, COO, Headteachers and Trustees with new priorities as a result of
    evolving development plans;
  • Serve as the primary point of contact during procurements and tenders;
  • Serve as the primary point of contact with schools regarding contractual issues of central service
    contracts.

Requirements:

  • Gained or working towards (level 3 or above) qualification in Playwork, Health, Social Work, Psychology or another related field.
  • Knowledge of Inclusion policies and procedures
  • Experience of inclusion work with children/young people with challenging behaviour, disabilities and/or complex needs
  • Experience of working with children and young people in a play/leisure environment
  • Good time management and ability to plan own workload and work to deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work on own initiative as well as following set procedures and working in conjunction with others
  • Knowledge of Safeguarding and child protection
  • Commitment to providing a child-centered service
  • Proven family support / community development skills
  • A pro-active attitude to the development of inclusive leisure opportunities for children and young people
  • Knowledge of facilities/services regarding play provision in Leeds
  • A positive approach to the issue of risk in children’s play
