Responsibilities:
- Mesa’s Assistant City Engineer works alongside a second Assistant City Engineer, both reporting to the City Engineer.
- Together they supervise the department in planning, organizing, and directing the efficient development and construction of the community’s public works projects.
Requirements:
- This position requires graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field.
- Extensive (5+ years) administrative and supervisory experience in the civil engineering or architectural field is also required, along with experience planning and directing difficult projects and supervising the work of professional engineer and/or architectural staff.
