Position Title:Audit and Payment Excel Analyst

Job Description:

As part of our administration we run a programme of audits – both site audits and desk audits, to detect error and fraud, and check our controls. The Audit and Payments Analyst role is crucial in supporting the Audit Managers and Senior Managers on all issues related to the accurate and timely processing of any payment adjustments. The role plays an important part in ensuring the scheme’s error calculations are accurately represented, through the case by case calculation of individual error values to the application of the audit results to the total population to give total scheme error rates. The role also involves producing visuals for internal and external stakeholders on the performance and findings of the audit programs. There is also scope to be involved in ad-hoc projects across the team.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the DRHI audit Payments processes, liaising with internal and external colleagues as required
  • Understand the statistics behind the audit program and keep them in line with the motivations of the program
  • Ensuring that the Domestic RHI Audit calculations are accurately done and in accordance with the rules of the scheme and processing any adjustments
  • Keeping abreast of relevant developments arising from changes in legislation and disseminating in a clear, logical manner to affected parties
  • Assisting the Manager to ensure that Payments Service Level Agreements are met
  • Attend and contribute to key meetings to discuss calculation issue /queries
  • Analyse data and Identify key trends and feedback to the wider team
  • Contribute to the audit reporting process
  • Customer care and customer journey considerations
  • Produce reports as required to illustrate analysis of relevant figures.
