Position Title: SESSIONAL ESOL TUTOR

Job Description:
We have a great opportunity based at City College Peterborough to become a key member of our ESOL department.
Responsibilities:
- The job role will include contributing to the continued development of the department, providing tutorial support for learners, and carrying out the associated administrative tasks connected with the position.
- The successful candidate will need to have experience in delivering ESOL to adult learners. A CELTA or Trinity CertTESOL qualification is essential to carry out this role.
- As an experienced ESOL tutor, you will be required to plan and deliver ESOL courses across a range of levels in an inspiring manner;
- you will support your learners to achieve their full potential and create a positive and engaging learning environment.
Requirements:
- Demonstrate strong subject knowledge in ESOL
- Establish effective working relationships with people at all levels
- Monitor, support and record learner progress
- Provide innovative and stimulating training
- Work as part of a team to achieve timely results
