Position Title: Assistant Merchandiser

Job Description
We are recruiting for an Assistant Merchandiser to join our Merchandising team in Menswear. Based at our Pep&Co Head Office in Watford, the role has a flexible working location, allowing you to work from home and the office.
Responsibilities:
- Critical path management of your category with support from the Merchandising Admin Assistant and Buying team
- Identifying any potential issues around stock availability and deliveries into warehouse and store and cultivating relationships with suppliers to reduce this risk.
- Monitoring of the Weekly Sales and Stock Intake plan (WSSI) tools to ensure it reflects the most accurate data, as well as forecasting WSSI following the release of actual performance data
- Deputizing for Junior Merchandiser when required
- Preparing and presenting category and product sales performance for weekly trade meetings
- Working closing with the Merchandiser to deliver against top line planning principles, including phasing, category mixes and option counts
- Responsible for managing several categories within Menswear, working with several suppliers
- Ensuring the flow of inbound and outbound stock replenishment is managed effectively
Requirements:
- Previous experience within fashion retail
- A fashion degree or similar would be desirable
- A minimum of 18 months of Merchandising experience at either an Assistant Merchandiser or at
- Intermediate Excel Skills – advanced is desirable
- Merchandising Administration Assistant level
- Prior knowledge of WSSI (weekly Stock & Sales Inventory)
- Proven analytical skills with excellent communication, both written and verbal.
