Job Description:
We’re looking for a passionate senior/principal Python technologist, preferably with a strong business background, to work within the Investment Technology team.
Responsibilities:
- You’ll be based at our Broadlands Business Campus near Horsham in West Sussex. It’s home to our EMEA Operations and Technology Operations hub.
- It has the same high standards and international reputation as our HQ in the City of London, without being in the city: a big, countryside campus (and no commute on the Tube) means life will feel a little different.
- We support our international offices by developing, rolling out and maintaining our systems and processes, using cutting-edge software and hardware. Our new Broadlands Business Campus means there’s a great working environment for the team.
- We know however that helping you balance personal and professional commitments is a big part of that, so we’re open to flexible working in a hybrid environment
Requirements:
- We’re looking for a passionate senior/principal Python technologist, preferably with a strong business background, to work within the Investment Technology team.
- You’ll work with like-minded technologists, with a variety of skill sets, focused on building best of breed data processing and analytical tools for processes such as portfolio construction, optimisation and performance attribution using modern, appropriate technologies.
- We’re after an adaptable engineer to work within a team that delivers software that’s fast, reliable, and has a tangible impact on our business. Ideally, you’ll have a good understanding of asset management and financial markets.
