Position Title: Sr. Manager, Meetings & Events

Job Description:

The Senior Manager of Meetings and Events will be a strategic thinker with laser-focused attention to detail to deliver best-in-class live and virtual experiences for attendees and employees. They will work cross-functionally to collaborate with SMEs and stakeholders to creatively and effectively deliver against event strategy, goals, needs & logistics.

Responsibilities:

  • Directs the overall planning and strategy for live or virtual meetings and events for the brand- including bi-annual conventions, business meetings, employee events. Supports the planning of events for community and Subway Cares Foundation events as needed.
  • Manage all aspects of pre, on-site, and post-event logistics, vendor, and team management.
  • Oversee budget forecasting and expense reconciliation ensuring meetings and events are executed appropriately and bi-annual convention is self-funded.
  • Collaborate on event food and beverage, décor, and entertainment.
  • Manage and mentor team members to learn, grow and contribute to a high-performing team.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality, Marketing, Business or related field required.
  • 5+ years of related experience.
  • Exceptional multi-tasking and time management skills.
  • Budget and bookkeeping experience.
  • Polished verbal communication and presentation skills.
