Position Title: CARM Coordinator

Job Description:

Worcestershire Safeguarding Adults Board (WSAB) are looking for an organised and effective Coordinator to support us in implementing a Complex Adults Risk Management (CARM) Framework across the County. The CARM process provides an effective, coordinated, and multi-agency response to support people who have complex needs often requiring support from a range of organisations. There is often a danger that without a coordinated and timely approach the likelihood of people in these situations having risks around safeguarding are increased.

Responsibilities:

  • The CARM Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the implementation of the CARM framework.
  • They will oversee the initiation and monitoring of multi-agency meetings, ensuring that there is timely information sharing.
  • This will support the development and implementation of shared decision making and risk management plans which will enable improved outcomes for the adult.
  • They will have experience of working in an environment that works with adults with care and support needs and/or safeguarding.
  • They will also have experience of coordinating and supporting multi-agency meetings, alongside project management and analytical skills.

Requirements:

  • Funding has been identified to support this post as part of a one-year pilot. The successful candidate will be part of a small team which oversees the work of the WSAB. Secondments will be considered.
  • They will have experience of working in an environment that works with adults with care and support needs and/or safeguarding.
  • They will also have experience of coordinating and supporting multi-agency meetings, alongside project management and analytical skills.
