Position Title:Maintenance Delivery Technician

Job Description:

In this crucial role, you’ll be undertaking planned maintenance and reactive work on c ontrol v alves and metering assets. Using your knowledge and technical expertise you will carry out servicing of control valves (including Pressure Reducing & sustaining valves (PRV/PSV ), flow control valves (FCV), maintenance of meters and associated data logging, complete risk assessments , undertake planned valve operations and provide technical support to the wider Anglian Water teams.

Responsibilities:

  • E xtensive front line mechanical operational experience
  • I deally an understanding and working knowledge of water network operations and hydraulics
  • Ideally an NVQ within Leakage Control or Distribution Control
  • E xcellent customer facing skills and a positive approach to change
  • A m echanical qualification
  • Able to undertake logical problem solving and data interpretation
  • NRSWA (New Roads and Street Works Act) accredited
  • If successful in your application, you will benefit from access to a company vehicle, so a full driving
  • licence is essential. If you are offered the role, the status of your driving licence will be checked .
  • Ability to work alone
