Position Title: Assortment Planner

Job Description:

In role, you will be responsible for the end to end assortment selection cycle, through to execution within the BRIS cluster, building both local and global learnings and insight to improve the product offer available to our customers.

Responsibilities: 

  • Always on promotions
  • Work cross-functionally to finalize the assortment plan and monitor financial impact from global assortment plans and local requirements.
  • Support in weekly trade and leverage information to inform future commercial direction.
  • Key point of contact for reporting final cluster buys for all channels both within the cluster and with global teams.
  • Cluster hindsight, reporting & analysis
  • Cycle Launch
  • Ongoing review of the product selection for promotions to ensure all selected product is aligned with the TLU; aligns with marketing focus and is agreed in a timely manner to ensure inventory is planned appropriately across all departments.
  • Ensure the correct selection of product for each cycle across both BASE and NPI; driving cross-functional alignment on the selection of product for marketing assets; store windows; TVC campaigns. Key reporting to be set up in all instances.
  • Hindsight market and in-season sales performance; develop strategies to improve KPI’s and meet Cluster needs, whilst influencing global future direction.
  • Use historical performance, in-season sales, cluster plans and GBU strategies to create seasonal plans, that take account of channel needs and also store grading.
  • Co-ordinate cross-functionally to revise assortment plans based on in-season sales insights to identify new opportunities.
  • For the agreed sub-GBU – ownership of:
  • Cluster Range Plan
  • Establish a minimum credible offer principal for each store-grade.

Reqirements:

  • Knowledge of planning software
  • Strong assortment planning experience
  • High level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel and strong aptitude to learn technical applications (like: MS Access, Hyperion and APTOS) quickly.
  • Experience from retail, fashion, lifestyle or FMCG industry
