Position Title: SCOA Design SME

Job Description:

Acting as part of the Data Model team in FACT, this role will assist in the design of Standard Chart of Accounts (SCOA) for the AZ single instance of S/4 and Central Finance (CFIN). Working together with the SCOA Design Lead you will collaborate with the S/4 Finance Process teams to map existing transactional COA to the new S/4 CFIN target SCOA that facilitates the S/4 capability. The gaps and consistency challenges will be identified and addressed.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the design of the SCOA for S/4 and CFIN
  • Work with the Master Data Standards Lead to integrate the new transactional SCOA in to the data model for S/4 Finance
  • Iterate and test the design against the current state and develop the mapping principles
  • Assist in the creation of the mapping rules and resolve gaps and propose solutions relating to consistency for each instance/company code in ECC
  • Working closely with the project team and the Global Data Office (GDO) to deliver the preparation activities for S/4
  • Create and sustain key artefacts for the SAP S/4 data model
  • Establish influential and highly collaborative relationships across Finance, in particular with the R2R GPO

Requirements:

  • Knowledge and understanding of transactions and reporting in an SAP environment
  • Understanding of how finance information and data combines within an SAP architecture e.g. GL, CC, Functional Area
  • Ability to influence leaders and teams
  • Excellent networking, collaboration and communication skills
  • Analytical and problem solving skills with an ability to get to root cause.
  • Part/Qualified Finance professional e.g. ACA / ACCA or CIMA
  • Project lifecycle experience
  • Familiar with key business documentation requirements as they relate to SAP or other Finance systems
