Job Description:
The City of Chandler Community Services Department is currently seeking qualified individuals interested in joining our team as a Temp Assistant Pool Manager. This is a part-time temporary, non-exempt position without benefits.
Responsibilities:
- Chandler Aquatics is seeking a responsible, self-motivated, and organized Assistant Pool Manager to join our team.
- We are looking for someone with good decision-making skills concerning employee scheduling, train and coach employees, prioritize daily work assignments, and performing daily duties in the most efficient manner.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED equivalency; and
- One (1) year experience as a lifeguard and swimming instructor including previous supervisory experience; and
- American Red Cross Lifeguard/First Aid/CPR/AED Certification; and
- American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor Certification; and
- Valid Arizona Driver’s License with acceptable driving record; or
- Any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the knowledge and abilities necessary to perform the work.
- Two (2) years as a lifeguard or swimming instructor;
- Some college courses;
- American Red Cross Lifeguard Training Instructor and/or Water Safety Instructor Trainer Certification(s).
