Position Title: Provider Service Worker

Job Description:

Provider Services has a number of vacancies for flexible support staff on a casual basis to cover for leave, training, sickness etc.

Responsibilities:

  • As a Provider Service Worker you  will need to be able to travel across the city to a variety of supported living properties. A car is not essential.
  • You will need to be flexible in your working hours and participate in a rota that includes evenings,nights, weekends, sleep ins, standby duties and Bank Holidays.
  • You will need to enjoy supporting people in a variety of settings, assisting individuals to make the most of their support including supporting with personal care and moving and handling.
  • Support in their home will include shopping and daily living tasks, support with cleaning, cooking and day to day financial mangement and social activities.
  • As a provider service worker you will also contribute to and follow a support plan that has been designed around the individual.

Requirements:

  • You will be required to work on your own and as part of a team and be able to use your own initiative.
  • No experience is necessary as we offer extensive training and Learning Disability specific training.
  • We offer a excellent pension scheme and up to 25 days paid holiday per year (pro rata).
  • The successful candidates will be required to complete an Enhanced Criminal Records Bureau check in line with Section 115 of The Police Act 1991
