Position Title:Retail Communications Co-ordinator

Job Description:

The main focus of this fast-paced role is to provide engaging communication in our tone of voice to Shop Teams and Regional Management. The successful candidate will work closely with teams throughout Greggs House to deliver our weekly bulletins, annual conferences and cascade materials.

Responsibilities:

  • Provides engaging and effective communication to support company business plan initiatives and activity including GPS and Digital Channels.
  • Provides administrative support as required.
  • Manages feedback from Retail teams by gathering, analysing and preparing summary information to drive decisions and improvements.
  • Responsible for managing our structured communication channels including the Retail Ops
  • Update and Weekly Action Checklist.
  • Maintains the Retail Activity Plan and ensures all agreed activity has a robust communication plan.
  • Coordinates and delivers monthly updates to senior stakeholders on behalf of Retail, sharing progress against the Business Plan.
  • Represents Retail interests in meetings and working groups.
  • Creates exciting, interactive and engaging materials for conferences, cascades and subsequent team member briefings.

Requirements:

  • Fully conversant with Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Awareness of Microsoft 365 Teams and Sharepoint
  • Persuasive and able to influence at all levels
  • Experience of working in a fast-paced environment
  • Articulate with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Good understanding of shop operations
  • Excellent time management and organising skills
  • A creative mindset
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to design and create engaging communications
