Job Description:
The Desktop Engineer will be an integral part of the IT Operations and Services function
Responsibilities:
- Provide high quality daily, weekly and monthly performance reporting, helping ensure performance deviations from plan are understood and actions are taken accordingly.
- Support the production and consolidation of various month end performance reporting packs for the Senior Reporting Manager.
- Own and maintain the consolidation model for month-end management accounts across multiple territories and sales channels for the Senior Reporting Manager. Proactively identify opportunities to improve existing processes.
- Provide high-quality, detailed analysis as requested by the Senior Reporting Manager to understand performance trends and identify risks and opportunities.
- Own and maintain the consolidation model for budgeting and forecasting exercises across multiple territories and sales channels for the Senior Reporting Manager.
- Work effectively across the wider Commercial Finance team to co-ordinate activities and identify opportunities for process improvement.
- Proven, hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment, with a strong understanding of key business drivers.
- Advanced user of Microsoft Excel and able to quickly learn new financial and operating systems.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 2 years in a 2nd line Position
- ITIL knowledge/experience
- Excellent knowledge of Office 365, Microsoft Azure (AutoPilot, InTune/MDM)
- Experience of ServiceNow, Jira, Process Automation & Workflows
- Understanding of scripting and command-line language
- Experience in deploying, installing, and maintain PCs and software, tending to all adds, moves, and changes
- Experience of working in a regulated environment
