Position Title:Paediatric ENT

Job Description:

Applicants are invited to apply for a 6-month renewable up to 12 months fixed term Locum Ear, Nose & Throat (ENT) consultant post in a primarily elective setting, with a subspecialty interest in Bening Head and Neck Surgery and /or Paediatric ENT.The ENT department, based at Homerton University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, has the advantage of a large and well equipped Out-Patients Department (OPD). There is also the facility for Paediatric ENT clinics to be held within the separate Paediatric clinic area.Purpose-built Audiology support is situated adjacent to the ENT clinic area. the ENT team is dedicated to developing team working where appropriate with colleagues in all areas.

Responsibilities:

  • Approachable team player, this is a small team who support each other to get the job done, we’re looking for an individual who fits with this culture
  • An ability to work independently and manage time effectively while working to deadlines
  • Strong skills in network design and documentation
  • Experienced configuring and managing switches, routers, wireless, firewalls, IPS, NAC, NMS devices across physical, virtual and cloud estates
  • Good interpersonal skills with the ability to lead technical teams and mentor junior engineers
  • Flexible approach to working hours with some projects requiring out of hours work to minimise disruption in a 24/7 healthcare environment, participation in an on call team rota
