Position Title: Insights Analyst

Job Description:

We are looking for our very first Insights Analyst to support the digital transformation of our Brand.

Responsibilities: 

  • Create and maintain dashboards/reports using Tableau or similar
  • Understand, analyse and explain the link between in-store customer footfall and the website, taking into account the effectiveness of Company communications
  • Be responsible for providing quantitative and qualitative research analysis and insight on projects such as key themes and trends emerging from the website – as such the successful candidate must be comfortable with owning their own analytics projects and work from concept through to delivery, presenting findings to key stakeholders 
  • Analyse a wide range of data to help inform business strategies, ensuring findings are accurate and relevant for the specific function
  • Conduct competitor analysis to update the team on how Primark compares to it’s competitors in each market.
  • Track and monitor customer feedback using a range of tools, to gain a greater insight into the website’s performance
  • Ensure the team are kept updated on market trends and opportunities.
  • Liaise and collaborate with our business analytics team to ensure both in-store and on-line experiences are interlinked
  • Be responsible for linking multiple customer feedback points to ensure one source of truthReqirements:
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, with strong presentation skills.
  • A focus on quantitative research but the ability to use qualitative methods when necessary too.
  • Excellent planning and organisation skills, ability to multi-task, plan and prioritise workflow.
  • 3+ years experience in a similar research role, preferably in retail.
  • Excellent attention to detail and an ability to analyse and interrogate high volumes of data
  • A great communicator, who can contribute effectively as part of a team.
  • Good experience with quantitative and qualitative research methods – understanding when to use each one effectively
  • Self-motivated, problem solver and results oriented
  • Ability to build credible relationships with a range of internal stakeholders.
