Position Title:Network Flow Planner

Job Description:

We have an exciting opportunity for a Transition Flow Planner to join our Network Planning team. You will be responsible for delivering the future Transition plan work cross functionally and set/manage the day to day transition plan. Ensuring they are built into the 52-week network plans and that the transitions are set up to deliver key trading periods, such as Peak, Family & Friends and Home Events across the Clothing & Home network (excluding Foods). This is a really great opportunity to progress your career as you will be deputising for the Manager in their absence.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor transitions sharing information daily with Supply Chain Planning & the Business Units. Highlighting if we are deviating away from the plans for the week and all points of execution are happening in a timely manner
  • Instrumental in the Clothing & Home Dispatch Planning processes, including launch, in-season, reduced and promotion planning
  • Pulling together the Single Tier plans based on Strategy end state and be the first point of contact for any proposed tactical changes
  • Accountable for informing and influencing your line manager of opportunities to improve, simplify and identify cost reduction in the Logistics network
  • Stock reporting and collaborating closely with BUs to determine volumes to move and priorities
  • Engaging BUs, Stakeholders & 3PLs with regular Communications on transition plan and RAG status
  • Working through and proposing any tactical moves in the network and supporting restructures accordingly where stock is required to move
  • A key player in the monthly supplier reviews with the BUs. Highlighting what is coming down the line and any support needed

Requirements:

  • To succeed in this role, you will need to be highly organised with experience in Supply Chain Planning principles
  • practices with a sound knowledge of logistics distribution networks, commercial and supply chain planning.
  • Who is familiar with business IT and MI systems, i.e. (Excel (advanced) / Powerbi / Availability Dashboard / DPM & Business Objects)
  •  With strong commercial and analytical skills and the ability to utilise Data Analytics.
  • We are looking for a phenomenal communicator who feels comfortable questioning and influencing Senior Stakeholders in an environment of ambiguity.
