Position Title: IT Project Manager

Location: Brighouse, UK

Job Description:

As an experienced IT Project Manager, you will assume responsibility for the initiation, design, control & execution of IT Projects delivering application implementations and major changes, particularly in Warehouse Management Systems. You will identify, mobilise & lead a team of SME’s, ensuring the project is delivered to time, cost & quality constraints. You will be required to identify and manage Project Risks and Issues, ensuring appropriate mitigation plans are in place.

Responsibilities:

  • Defining the Project Scope (including Out of Scope) & approach
  • Validating the project budget against the project scope
  • Identifying, mobilising and leading a team of SME’s
  • Creation & ongoing management of the detailed Project Plan
  • Creation & ongoing management of the Risks & Issues Log
  • Creation & ongoing management of the High-Level & Milestone Plans
  • Completion of all required project documentation (Brief, PID etc)
  • Creation & execution of the project Communication Plan
  • Identifying shortfalls in resources and / or budget & making appropriate recommendations
  • Ensuring all internal processes are followed, such as Procurement and CAB
  • Delivery of the project, adhering to the agreed methodology
  • Successful pass through all Stage Gates
  • Formal ‘Business As Usual Handover’ upon completion of project delivery

Requirements:

  • Effective communication at all levels
  • Experience of a generalist HR Manger role
  • Pragmatic
  • Able to engage at all levels
  • Ability to deal with complex, difficult and emotional situations
  • First Line Employee/Industrial relations
  • Working within a previous HR role within Logistics or similar, would be an advantage
