Position Title: IT Project Manager

Location: Brighouse, UK
Job Description:
As an experienced IT Project Manager, you will assume responsibility for the initiation, design, control & execution of IT Projects delivering application implementations and major changes, particularly in Warehouse Management Systems. You will identify, mobilise & lead a team of SME’s, ensuring the project is delivered to time, cost & quality constraints. You will be required to identify and manage Project Risks and Issues, ensuring appropriate mitigation plans are in place.
Responsibilities:
- Defining the Project Scope (including Out of Scope) & approach
- Validating the project budget against the project scope
- Identifying, mobilising and leading a team of SME’s
- Creation & ongoing management of the detailed Project Plan
- Creation & ongoing management of the Risks & Issues Log
- Creation & ongoing management of the High-Level & Milestone Plans
- Completion of all required project documentation (Brief, PID etc)
- Creation & execution of the project Communication Plan
- Identifying shortfalls in resources and / or budget & making appropriate recommendations
- Ensuring all internal processes are followed, such as Procurement and CAB
- Delivery of the project, adhering to the agreed methodology
- Successful pass through all Stage Gates
- Formal ‘Business As Usual Handover’ upon completion of project delivery
Requirements:
- Effective communication at all levels
- Experience of a generalist HR Manger role
- Pragmatic
- Able to engage at all levels
- Ability to deal with complex, difficult and emotional situations
- First Line Employee/Industrial relations
- Working within a previous HR role within Logistics or similar, would be an advantage
