Position Title:RECRUIT Vetting Clerk

Job Description:

To ensure that the annual security appraisal forms (SAFs-DV Only) are sent out to the Line Managers/1st Reporting Officers annually (in line with the individuals Annual Report/Assessment period) for all Service RAF Personnel employed within Bldg 47, RAF High Wycombe who hold DV security clearance in accordance with the requirements of the JSP 440.To act as a point of contact between the Civilian Vetting Officers, DBS UKSV and the vetting candidates and where applicable provide limited administrative support for the Field Interviewing Officer (FIO).

Responsibilities:

  • To ensure the early distribution of the appropriate security vetting forms for individuals requiring Security Check/Developed Vetting security clearance to work in Bld 47 as detailed by DBS UKSV.
  • To ensure that the annual security appraisal forms (SAFs-DV Only) are sent out to the Line
  • Managers/1st Reporting Officers annually (in line with the individuals Annual Report/Assessment period) for all Service RAF Personnel employed within Bldg 47, RAF High Wycombe who hold DV security clearance in accordance with the requirements of the JSP 440.
  • monitored and 6 months prior to the expiry of a particular clearance issue reminders. If the
  • clearance is still required then the relevant vetting renewal paperwork is sent out and hastened as required and once received set up on CERBRUS for the individual to complete and submit to the DBS UKSV for processing.
  • To ensure that all vetting set up forms sent out are returned promptly and examined to ensure
  • they are correctly completed before setting up on the CERBRUS security vetting system for the individual to complete and submit to the DBS UKSV for processing.
