Position Title: Product setup Assistant

Job Description:

The role will provide varied exposure to all aspects of our company’s lifecycle and board support in a very exciting and fast paced group.

Responsibilities:

  • Gather and collate information relating to new products (directly from the supplier or through the central Kingfisher team) ensuring that it is submitted in line with Screwfix deadlines

  • Organise and prioritise tasks according to deadlines and ensure that data is submitted to the Trading Team for approval at least 5 working days prior to the deadline
  • Convert data received from the OSC for Unified products and input into Step for approval
  • Escalate any issues with vendors meeting deadlines with the relevant Trading Manager and inform the Range Operations Manager
  • Attend internal meetings, providing support to the project process as required
  • Liaise and work with various stakeholders including the Trading Team, Supply Chain, Content Management, Suppliers and Kingfisher central teams
  • Undertake competitor research both online and in store on range and price, ensuring our ranging decisions are based on accurate information
  • Work closely with the ECommerce team for each range launch, suggesting online customer journey improvements and enhancements to existing ranges
  • Assist with launch marketing and awareness for both customers and colleagues to help drive sales
  • Update trackers, monitor and review with key stakeholders on a regular basis
  • Manage the Product Centre ensuring that product samples are delivered, stored and returned or disposed of in an appropriate manner for your categories
  • Provide training and support to your team members, taking on ADHOC tasks where necessary to achieve team goals

Requirements:

  • Experience of working within a fast-paced and deadline driven environment, ideally within a co-ordination role
  • A working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly the ability to format information clearly in excel
  • Able to be accurate, with attention to detail to challenge and spot errors in large amounts of data
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to successfully manage a large number of internal and external relationships
  • Previous commercial experience ideal, preferably in a retail environment
