Position Title:Senior Technical Program Manager Infrastructure

Job Description:

With Amazon’s customer obsession philosophy we are bolstering our Customer Support team to provide excellent service to all of our community members, whether they be creators, customers, developers, or viewers.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with infrastructure and operations leadership and software development managers to identify gaps and solutions
  • Initiate and manage infrastructure projects around the world
  • Drive execution of major and minor infrastructure and data centre projects
  • Plan and lead major maintenances and infrastructure upgrades
  • Create weekly, monthly and other reports as requested
  • Support other Global Infrastructure TPMs
  • Develop and document processes
  • Be the source of truth and best practices for wider team

Requirements:

  • Ensure data-driven approach and a willingness to experiment to decide
  • 7+ years of experience in technical project management, or similar technical leadership role
  • Bachelor’s degree in related discipline or equivalent professional experience.
  • Experience with datacenter projects, data centre operations or points of presence
  • Knowledge or experience in Systems or Network Engineering
  • Understanding of TCP/IP and internet infrastructure
  • PRINCE2 or PMP Certification
  • Ensure data-driven approach and a willingness to experiment to decide
  • Sense of humor
