Position Title: Library Customer Advisor

Job Description:

The role is diverse, exciting and no two days are the same. You will help our customers access a wide range of resources and services. A typical day could see you provide digital one to one support, lead events and activities such as a song or storytelling session for children or an online activity group for adults. Expect to learn something new every day in a fast-paced customer focussed environment

Responsibilities:

  • Working hours are based on a rota and include Saturdays and eveningsYou may have a background in retail, community, education, early years or library work – but whatever your experience, your understanding of the customer will be crucial.
  • If you enjoy working with people, thrive on providing excellent customer service and you would like to be part of an innovative and enthusiastic team, then we would like to hear from you.
  • You will need to be enthusiastic, flexible and energetic, with excellent customer service skills. A will to find an answer to whatever question is asked is key.

Requirements:

  • Administering grantsEnsuring compliance with, and working within the regulations of funding requirements, such as ERDF.
  •  UK Community Renewal FundAssisting with procurement and working closely with service providers e.g. contracted energy advisorsDay-to-day communication with businesses/public & third sector organisations and project partners Assisting .
  • with the planning and delivery of events and marketing of programmes.
