Job Description:

This position is responsible for managing the collection of the student Vaccine Attestation Forms related to Bellevue College’s status as a Vaccinated Campus in the State of Washington. The Vaccine Attestation Specialist is responsible for tracking student compliance in completing the attestation online form, running reports to identify students who have not complied with the requirements, and reaching out to students to provide information and encourage completion of the requirement via phone, email, text messaging, and in-person meetings. This position also provides technical support to students who need assistance in accessing and completing the form, and implementing campus established protocols for students who do not comply with the attestation requirement..

Responsibilities:

  • Advise and work with students related to understanding the state rules for BC’s status as a Vaccinated Campus and the requirements students must follow while on campus
  • Provide outreach to sudents via email, text, phone, and in-person meetings to encourage students to complete the Vaccine Attestation Form
  • Hold information sessions to answer students questions, and encourage completion of the Vaccine Attestation Form
  • Respond to student concerns and questions using a holistic approach that conveys a sense of care and understanding. Escalate student concerns when appropriate.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the state Vaccinated Campus requirements and communicate these requirements to students, which includes those for whom English is a second language by using interpreting services.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor Degree or equivalent education/experience
  • Demonstrated two (2) years’ full-time experience, or equivalent part-time experience, working in an Enrollment Services or related office in a higher education setting
  • Demonstrated two (2) years’ experience providing customer service and information related to compliance with rules or regulations
  • Demonstrated two (2) years’ experience working in a Student Information System such as PeopleSoft, Banner or Datatel that includes experience with data reporting tools and writing and modifying data queries
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct data analysis and interpret data for key business decisions
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a diverse workplace and educational environment
  • Demonstrated ability and commitment to maintaining a high level of confidentiality
