Position Title: Test Engineer

Job Description:
As a Barclays Test Engineer, you will ensure successful delivery of new features and provide adequate test coverage for the major customer journeys. You’ll work together with the team to add the scenarios to the regression pack. We’re looking for someone who is curious, collaborative, interested in learning new skills and then applying them to optimize customer journeys.
Responsibilities:
- You will attend agile ceremonies with the team, understand the process and the discussed stories
- You will participate and practice behavior-driven development by helping the team to define better acceptance criterias and acceptance tests
- Working closely with team creating test plans with a focus on automating relevant scenarios, increasing the existing test coverage and capturing main customer journeys
- Learning to apply the testing principles and heuristic methods to provide estimation on the various functional and non-functional testing needs of the project
- Isolating software problems and recording clear and detailed defects
Requirements:
- Knowledge on Agile SDLCs and the associated processes
- Basic programming skills
- Payment Industry experience
