Job Description:
The City of Aiken Parks, Recreation, and Tourism Department is accepting applications for a part-time Facilities Assistant for its recreation facilities on a year round basis.
Responsibilities:
- Preparing and securing the facilities for events
- Answering phones
- Registering participants for classes
- Booking events
- Collecting fees for rentals, memberships, etc.
- Assisting customers
- Working special events and other related duties
Requirements:
- Must be 18 years of age
- High School diploma or equivalent within first 6 months of employment
- Have a valid driver’s license
- Good communication and customer service skills are a must.
