Job Description:


The Data Quality manager is pivotal to the management of our organisational Master Data company wide. This includes schools, educational companies, local authorities and agencies both nationally and internationally. You will own the Master Data within the company’s CRM system (currently Salesforce). You will be defining and managing the processes that ensure high quality data across multiple sources and platforms. You will work alongside and be responsible for managing the staff that ensure that the data is accurate and up to date. As a gatekeeper of the company’s master data, you will need the confidence and ability to say ‘no’ when it is necessary to maintain the integrity of the data.

Responsibilities:

  • Own, maintain, monitor and report on the quality of the Master Data within Salesforce
  • Own the performance of the Data Quality Analyst, including performance management and development
  • Manage a Data Quality Analyst who validates, inputs and maintains the master data
  • Identify KPIs to report on the quality of the data, monitoring for out of date and duplicate data
  • Take ownership of ‘Schools Directory’ the internal helpdesk for account and group additions and amendments

Requirements:

  • Experience working in a data driven environment with excellent analytical skills
  • Ability to prioritise and multi-task with a flexible approach to work with changing deadlines and scope
  • Meticulous attention to detail and ability to adhere to processes
  • Logical thinking and problem-solving ability, innovative at creating solutions
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, negotiation and presentation skills and ability to develop strong working relationships across the business
  • Excellent team management/coaching skills
  • Able to work at both a detail and strategic level
  • Excellent listening and communication skills with the ability to coach and develop other data processing staff
